(...) a (...) Teflon Pipe Tape! Yes!! I've got tons of that stuff! I'll give that a try, or the Saran Wrap (thanks Mike). I tried scotch tape, but it wouldn't conform to the holes well enough. I love Lugnet. You guys rock :) Adrian -- (URL) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Well thanks Jeremiah, but your 4 legged SpiderTank is way cooler than all my multi-legged mecha! ;-) And who cares about the Tyco piece; if I have it, I would use it! ;-) And I really, really like the colour sceme of the ZOOT Suit; it's cool! BTW I (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space)

(...) Actually, that's a great idea! Not only will it not show up when seen from the side (as is occasionally the case), but Saran Wrap (or any plastic wrap for those against using brand names :) is DESIGNED to stick to things...   Re: tightening up mecha joints

(...) Silicon tape should work well. You can findn it in the plumbing section of a hardware store. It is a white tape (no sticky) about 3/8" wide. It is very stretchy and will conform very tightly to any shape. It's used on the threads of pipe for (...) (25 years ago, 17-Aug-00, to lugnet.build.mecha)
