Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

(...) blush (...) Thank you Mark! Yes, I'm trying to get a lot more detail packed into my models. Of course, with guys like you and Soren, among others, I'm learning fast. :-) (...) Yeah, originally they were supposed to fold back 180 degrees into a (...) (19 years ago, 1-Jul-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Ursine cub II

(...) Hmm... LOM... sounds vaguely familiar, but no, I don't think so. (...) Don't have to score it, Mark, I have Mech 2, GBL, and Mercs. I even have them in the coveted 3dfx format! LOL Thanks again, Jon (19 years ago, 30-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Blips

(...) Ah yes, the stories. Plenty of those lying around, Steve. Blips are minifig scale, kind of a general purpose messenger/security unit. They talk in machine code. Some of them have outrageous weapon upgrades, which ought to unbalance them, but (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Blips

(...) 1st rate mini Robots Pete. I know you do back stoies for your MOCs. whats the story behind them ? are they part of something or just a stand alone scale of robot ? are you open to anyone trying to do a blip ? cheers steve (19 years ago, 30-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: Quell

(...) See folks, music is the obvious key to awesome mechs and mecha. Where's that mechwarrior2 CD? <digging through box> lessee, Iron Maiden, Metallica, yanni in concert, Animaniac's music, 80's greatest hits, YESH! I think you me and Mladen need (...)   Re: A Lurker Converted

heh, you're welcome Zach. I'm glad I could help. Thank you for de-lurking! It's fantastic having more folks cruise .mecha. Man, you got articulation. Good job. That stuff is tricky to learn and on your first post you got awesome poses and (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Ursine cub II

This screams battletech. Not mechwarrior, with a name liek Ursine cub II, you're too good for mechwarrior. Battletech baby. The design reminds me a lot of the LOM robots. Did you use that for a design base? (no problem with that, I'm just curious) I (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: New MOC: MOAB

What strikes me is the immediate anime look to them. Like the more cartoony style, which BTW I consider to be very cool. beefy and well armed, no surprise that I'm liking that. The dropship shot with stores is very cool. I completely forgive the (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

Mladen, as always this is simply breathtaking. I am taken especially by the smaller details, like the 1x2 trans tile that comprises the periscope lens. Smoke launchers, staggered missle pods. Nice. I understand the wheels and they're pretty cool, (...) (19 years ago, 30-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A Lurker Converted

(...) I was interested to see the trans-smoke plates used in your weapon magazine. I don't know if you knew this or not, but some of the latest assault rifles use transparent plastic magazines, so the soldier can tell at a glance how much ammo is (...)   Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

(...) Thanks Geordan! I actually didn't think of the legs that way when I made them, but I like the way you describe them! :-D (...) Yah, maybe it's because the turret is a lot more faceted and complex, whereas the legs are smoother and, as you (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: MOAB

(...) Wow, thanks for the thorough review! I wouldn't argue with the idea that the MOAB is not as good a mech as the Spider Tank. Everything just came together for me on that Spider, and I still don't know if I'll ever equal that effort. I'm glad (...) (19 years ago, 27-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
