  Re: New MOC: MOAB

Kyle! I must say a week ago I ventured in to check out the newest Vrieze creation and was quite sorely disappointed. Upon initial inspection it looked like you had ditched completely the perfect, refined form that you had achieved with the spider (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

Awesome as usual Mladen! First off, the coolest part about this mecha are the legs. They are absolutely beautiful. The wheels fit in perfectly and the ladders as detail are awesome. The rockets at an independant angle from the leg are so sweet. What (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: A Lurker Converted

Hello, Congratulations on creating an extremely posable first mecha! The basic structure is the hardest part and you've got it there nicely. The hand design is pretty neat and I like what you did with the head as well. Seeing as you're just getting (...) (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  New MOC: Quell

(URL) (Click for gallery) Many thanks to Jeff Stembel, for providing me with a fine supply of rare 80s mecha tunes, without which this would have been a decidedly inferior model. Enjoy! Soren (19 years ago, 26-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

  A Lurker Converted

Greeting fellow mecha builders, This being my first post, please let me introduce myself. I have been lurking on lugnet for about a year now. Just recently I began to look into the world of mecha. I had seen many of Eric Sophie's MOCs when cruising (...) (19 years ago, 25-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Ursine cub II

(...) Thanks, Kyle. I find myself drawn to that color combo for some reason, but don't worry, I've got a different color scheme in mind for the next Mecha I build. (...) I thought it would be nice to make another hand-held weapon for a mech. (...) (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Ursine cub II

(...) Wow, I've lost sleep to Lego, but never that much sleep. (...) The limb redesign really gives it a beefier shape and profile. Looks like the "new" hinge joints really help with that. I love the sand blue accented with dark blue, I've never (...) (19 years ago, 24-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mecha Pose Contest Winners

Congratulations to all the entrants and winners, the contest was a success, and the judges made some great selections!   Re: New MOC: MOAB

(...) Thanks, Marco! (...) Yes, well, you can imagine how many times the heads fell off before I got them both crammed in there :) (...) Thanks for the comments, Marco. (19 years ago, 24-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

(...) Dictionary.com says "bushwhack" is basically synonymous with ambush and querrilla warfare. A bushwhacker, aside from being a general term for an ambusher, also refers to "a Confederate guerrilla during the American Civil War". So I dunno why (...)   Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

Mladen, I can't believe you'd stoop to this level of nationalism: "Bushwhacker"? You evil Tank-Mecha driving Canadian, sure you can reduce Detroit to rubble, but you'll never break the American spirit! Although I've never been completely comfortable (...)   Re: New MOC: "Bushwhacker" Tank Mecha

Awesome Spider tank mech man. I'm lovin the concealed wheels and the missiel rack design. The round wedge design sitting upon the top is also nifty. (19 years ago, 21-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: MOAB

(...) Hello Kyle, can I have at least one of 'em? This concept is so cool! I'll have to try one on my own. Really great. (...) It's nice to see the inspiration... (...) (...) Congrats to Leonard, Nathan, Lee (?) and Adam. You did great work! I'm really glad that I haven't been a jury member! I wouldn't have come to a dicission that fast!   Re: Mecha Pose Contest Winners

(...) These are great choices. Even as an outsider, I loved this contest. Keep this up and one of these days I'll build a real mecha. (2 URLs) Tony Hafner (URL) www.hafhead.com> (19 years ago, 21-Jun-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
