  Re: Elite Shocktrooper

(...) I totally dig how the Bohrok body forms the Torso and the single tall sloped Brick juts out of the back. The pics are fantastic! Wow! Eye Candy to the 5th power. (URL) e (p.s. hit reply to view FTX code for your thumbnail link) Good Luck, I (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Oh man, that is soooooo cooooool! I like this one A LOT! (...) Heh, good robust looking Mech, coo coo .... mmmmhhhmmm mmmhhhmmm (...) Ahhh yes, and with this Mech you complete a good range of Types. This is good stuff! I look forward to seeing (...) (20 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: New MOC: K-Siren

Hi Soren, I wanted to say that I really think this pic is (URL) cool>. Thanks! e (20 years ago, 24-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) It's interesting that you would mention that the front section looks like it could detach. Actually the front section, the back section, and each of the three mech bays are separate modules connected by technic pins. However, I reinforced the (...)   Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) Couple of Comments: Love the forward section, looks like it could detach and connect on to other vehicles. The detailing and curviture to the front gives it a smooth connection to the hanger portion. I don't think the mechs are too small. (...)   Re: my first post :)

(...) All three of these are good, but Tapatio is my favorite. It's got the visual impact of an all-red color scheme, the proportions are good and "beefy", articulation and posability are excellent, and it's got character. I'm especially impressed (...)   Re: Johnny five IS alive - first MOC

(...) Compressed air can either be expensive (from the little cans) or sometimes has traces of oil in it from the compressor. What I have had good luck with are camelhair brushes. If you buy makeup brushes it is sometimes possible to get rounded (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Johnny five IS alive - first MOC

(...) Congratulations, this is an amazing achievement! I've been seeing "Johnny's" progress on Brickshelf from time to time. It would be cool to see this one in person, to get the full effect of the massive scale. I even picked up some good (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My First Mech ... Please Critic

(...) Brian, I thought this creation was a hoot. For several reasons it reminded me why I do this in the first place. You built a mech just because you wanted to and grow with it. Good for you! The legs are thin, could be filled in with brick or (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.us.cedarlug, FTX)

  Re: my first post :)

(...) David, I managed to create a cockpit (URL), however, it's a little cramped in there :) (...) Thanks... although "Papa" is definitely headed for a makeover. (...) This one's a toughy... a longer snout may look funny when in robot mode, and as (...) (20 years ago, 22-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: My First Mech ... Please Critic

(...) PlatforMechABDI/1.jpg>> (...) Brian, I'm really not a fan of the ED-209 type mechs, but even then, this one isn't so bad. If you wanna continue to go in this direction, I suggest that you try some variation with your legs... I mean, try making (...) (...) Hi Bruce Thank you for your feedback. I'll try to make some movies and post them. Steven (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.robotics, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: My First Mech ... Please Critic

Hi Brian! One thing you'll notice that is different between ball joint and gear driven mechs is the range of motion using gears is very linear. That being the case, balance will now be a larger factor in building than it ever was before. My personal (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.us.cedarlug, FTX)

My First Mech ... Please Critic

Dear lugnet.build.mecha, After reading about the (URL) Beesch> and particularly some of the response and encouragement I received (URL) here> I decided that I would give Mech building a try.   Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) The drop bay is one continuous walk-through section. There's not a lot of space (a little over four studs in width), but would be plenty for a minifig dropmaster. I commented elsewhere that I ran out of creativity when it came to the interior. (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) I think there's a parallel between building mechs and building cargo ships, because the inside (either the joint tech or the cargo space) dictates what you can do with the outside. Thanks for the comments, Mark, glad you liked it! (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) (Blush), thanks! And I agree with you about Mark's "Pioneer". I just checked his gallery again, and I think you could maybe park my "Aggressor" inside the cargo container. (...) I actually thought carefully about those white curved slopes. I (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship
