(...) PlatforMechABDI/1.jpg>> (...) Brian, I'm really not a fan of the ED-209 type mechs, but even then, this one isn't so bad. If you wanna continue to go in this direction, I suggest that you try some variation with your legs... I mean, try making (...) Hi Brian! One thing you'll notice that is different between ball joint and gear driven mechs is the range of motion using gears is very linear. That being the case, balance will now be a larger factor in building than it ever was before. My personal (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.org.us.cedarlug, FTX)

My First Mech ... Please Critic

Dear lugnet.build.mecha, After reading about the (URL) Beesch> and particularly some of the response and encouragement I received (URL) here> I decided that I would give Mech building a try.   Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) The drop bay is one continuous walk-through section. There's not a lot of space (a little over four studs in width), but would be plenty for a minifig dropmaster. I commented elsewhere that I ran out of creativity when it came to the interior. (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

  Re: "Aggressor", power armor dropship

(...) I think there's a parallel between building mechs and building cargo ships, because the inside (either the joint tech or the cargo space) dictates what you can do with the outside. Thanks for the comments, Mark, glad you liked it! (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)

(...) (Blush), thanks! And I agree with you about Mark's "Pioneer". I just checked his gallery again, and I think you could maybe park my "Aggressor" inside the cargo container. (...) I actually thought carefully about those white curved slopes. I (...) (20 years ago, 21-Jan-05, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.space, FTX)
