Re: Shade, Mech for the SnowLeopard Clan Ninjas

well done dood, i gotta love the eyes, this mech has a lot of personality! (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shade, Mech for the SnowLeopard Clan Ninjas

(...) snip I absolutely love the calves and feet. You've got to have clearance for the ankle to pivot side-to-side, but you were able to recess the pivot axis low enough so that the front-back click hinge joint isn't sticking way up. In fact, you (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shade, Mech for the SnowLeopard Clan Ninjas

(...) Hey, this is pretty interesting...I think this is one of the smallest models I've seen with the reverse chicken leg design - one of your trademarks. I like your use of colors. I was noticing that light blue, sand blue, bley and dark grey make (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Robo Platoon MOC's

(...) It's funny - those "jet-thingies" are straight from the Robo-Platoon set, and a lot of people seem to like them - good job, Lego! The pneumatic tees are something I used for the wrists of my mecha for years. I'm glad to see that they're (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shade, Mech for the SnowLeopard Clan Ninjas

(...) I am trying to figure out the eyes thing. I like it, kind of mysterious and ninja-ish. Oh wait, I figured it out. Nice. Nice Mech, especially for your first stab at it this. (First stab, right?) You got to post the standing on one foot thing; (...) (20 years ago, 20-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Shade, Mech for the SnowLeopard Clan Ninjas

(...) Wow! Dang. (...) I think it is tottally great. (...) wow (...) sweet! (...) This is so cool. Great size, cool parts, nifty Snow Leopard Tech. The upper shoulders are sweet, I like the 3x3 w/o corner plates. The hands are tried and true. The (...) (20 years ago, 19-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Robo Platoon MOC's

(...) don't you just love the simplicity of the smaller mecha? your little guys look great! nice proportions. that blue one has an anime look to it with those jet-thingies (love my technical jargon?). the use of the t-valve has become a staple in (...)   Re: Robo Platoon MOC's

(...) Yeah, they are part of the feet. Actually the set comes with two blue, two red, two tan, and two in bley. Not a bad set for $9.99! (...) Thanks! Chris (20 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Robo Platoon MOC's

Did these sets have the new 1x1 claw plate in red and blue? If not, where did you get those from? LOVE that piece!! The mechas are all fantastic. Excellent proportions and poseability is aces. The booster/wing combo on the blue one is my favorite. (...) (20 years ago, 15-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

The red one came out pretty cool, so I rewarded it with a lovely dark grey Katana, courtesy of a "Stikfas" set... Later, Chris (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Spider Mecha

(...) Ah, ha. I see it now. The loop is on the handle of the metal detector, creating stress, and helps keeps your legs where you want them. Of course they may not be providing that much stress at all, but still looks very nice. Very cool trick. I'm (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Robo Platoon MOC's

Hello all, I was recently at TRU, and came across a new designer set called "Robo Platoon". It was along the same lines as the original "Mini-Bots" set that lego offered last year. So, I bought one, because I have to support Lego's continued (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Spider Mecha

(...) That's a pretty sweet little mech. Are those hoses around where the legs meet the body? Very fun and cool looking. Looks like a blast to play with. Cross posting to .mecha Mark Neumann (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
