These microbots were made using parts from the robo platoon set, the minibot team set and some technic pneumatic tees that I usually use for wrists on my larger mecha. I initally tried to keep the feel of the robo platoon set, but the red and the tan bot took on personalities of their own, and they continue to evolve.

For microscale bots, they are pretty robust; I tried to avoid using studs for frictiion.

Hello all, I was recently at TRU, and came across a new designer set called "Robo Platoon". It was along the same lines as the original "Mini-Bots" set that lego offered last year. So, I bought one, because I have to support Lego's continued (...) (20 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
