  Re: Z797

(...) I appreciate the feedback Lenny. I was thinking hoof when I built the feet, and yes, crushing the occasional minifig is always a plus. -Brayton (20 years ago, 29-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Z797

(...) Thanks Keith. I'm kinda partial to the main gun myself. It just sort of fell into place. As far as being a combination of Mladen and Soren's stuff, you hit the nail on the head. That's all my MOC's are really, just amalgations of other (...) (20 years ago, 29-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Z797

(...) snip I've really enjoyed your innovative piece usage on your power suit and Z series. It reminds me of the art of H.R. Giger, who did the original concept art for the alien in the movie Alien. I miss the feet and the water-strider stance of (...) (20 years ago, 29-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Waswillbe - The RG Mech 2.0

I've always liked red and dark gray together, and you finally found a good use for those trans green quarter domes from the Space Police II theme, not to mention those darn leg parts from the Insectoids theme, plus all (...)   Mecha Space at NWBrickCon

Howdy Howdy. NWBrickCon is about a month away and the Mech(a) table needs your support! Planning on bringing a mech or two or more, let me know so that I can have the table space to make your presentation as good as it can be. I perfer if you (...)   Re: Waswillbe - The RG Mech 2.0

(...) (Snip) (...) MMMMMMMM, red mecha..... Nicely done! The wings are incredible and the judicial use of trans green really adds to the overall design. The leg placement is compact and efficient looking but by far, my favourite part are his hands (...) (20 years ago, 28-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mobile Anti-Aircraft Platform MAAP-210

(...) God Mladen, just rip out poor Allister's heart and poor salt on the wound. Its these sorts of insults that make Lugnet no more fun. haha. just kidding. i actually see the difference you're raising, between the KV-2 and the T-34. I'm sure I (...)   Re: Z797

(...) That turret is pure genius! So organize and industrial all at the same time. I also really like the clunky feet - i can see these being used as weapons and crushing little infantry men running about. Really good stuff man! I'm gonna haveta (...)   Re: Waswillbe - The RG Mech 2.0

Eric love this design! The insect theme comes through strong with the six legs, compound looking green eyes, and wings to boot. The head as usual is epic with the twin proboscii mouthparts reminding me of a moth's feeding apparatus. Ryan (20 years ago, 28-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Z797

Brayton, my man, I can't believe nobody has responded to this....what a kick-a@# mecha! That main-gun with all the hoses and action rocks...actually the whole thing rocks. The minifig torsos on the legs are a nice touch. If one of Mladen's mecha (...) (20 years ago, 28-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mobile Anti-Aircraft Platform MAAP-210

  Re: Mobile Anti-Aircraft Platform MAAP-210

Nicely done Allister. You stay true to your word. I like that. :-) I think you did an excellent job overall. In fact, some of the things, like the Technic leg joints look like an improvement over my almost fanatical use of click-joints. I'm sad to (...)   Re: Mobile Anti-Aircraft Platform MAAP-210

(...) I like it... I like it alot. I think you deffinately captured some of the style of Mladen's mechs, but still made it your own. I have been thinking about making a multi-legged mech for awhile, but you guys keep raising the bar. The only thing (...) (20 years ago, 28-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Mobile Anti-Aircraft Platform MAAP-210

Allister this is the coolest mech I've seen in a while. You've really done a great job capturing the Mladen-esque multi-legged walker thing. All the details are good, but those legs really stand out. It would be cool to those legs impaling a tank, (...) (20 years ago, 27-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Waswillbe - The RG Mech 2.0

Amazing as usual E...it looks like something Godzilla might take offense to, something from Monster Island. The fact that the wings move is too cool, hope I can see that in person some time.   Z797

This model is the revised version of the Z748. I felt that it needed a bulkier look to it, so I shortened the legs and added pieces anywhere I could. It kind of reminds me of a rhino with the head.
