Re: State of .mecha - Its what WE make it

Hey cool! Its Biggs from the Herc Bay! Welcome! Although I must point out: This group shares in all Lego Robot Designs. Mechs, Mecha, Quads, Hexapods, Dropships, what ever. NOT just anime stuff, that would be exclusionary. I make my own kind of (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: State of .mecha

(...) Ah, so you are the one responsible for Bigs Herc bay? Excellent work! (...) Although i am certain that this group will always accept mecha/mechs in any form, i think that many who build lego mechanized walkers tend to go with mecha, which (...) (...) I'm not say they are crap. They work fine up to a certain scale, after that though, you have to either stiffen the ball-joints somehow (I don't like modding my parts), or find another joint system. (...) Thanks Dave!   Re: State of .mecha

As a builder myself I have an issue with the concept of this group focusing on the Japanese "MECHA" concept. In brief, I dont do designs of this type. I do designs that would more likely be called MECHS. In reality I don't do Mechs either, I do a (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

Re: New Mecha: "Centurion" Officer Mecha

(...) Hello MP. My favorite part of this mecha has to be the weapons and the space thrusters addon. I cannot get enough of them. You really capture the weapons design and the purpose they serve. I also enjoyed what you did with the legs and the (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit

(...) Hey Brayton. I love seeing new hardsuits, especially with whole minifigs in them. It is very unique. The four arms are cool. I would really like to see some action shots to see how poseable the hardsuit is and also how the pilot (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit

(...) Soren, I agree with you that the shoulders need bulking up. However, there is so little space between the two arms that even a 1 x 1 plate would destroy some of its posability. If you can think of a way around this, I'd love to hear about it. (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit

Very nice. I love it when someone posts a model and I have no clue how it goes together. If we can both make Brickfest let's have a hardsuit sumo match :). The only thing that bothers me is the shoulders, I think they could use a bit of bulking up. (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

  Re: Hardsuit

(...) Criticism? No chance of that from me on this model. This is simply one of the coolest looking hardsuits I've ever seen and the four arm interpretation of the hardsuit is just obscenely sweet! Further proof that color isn't everything. (...) (20 years ago, 20-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
