Re: What is Best in Life?

(...) Sweet. And sorta scary too, if you're a minifig. Very cool leg design, and nice piercing "Iron Reich will destroy you" glowing eye. I'm reminded of those little spiders in Minority Report, clicking down the halls...except this would be just a (...) (20 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

I figured this I needed to reply to, since we did talk about it for all of about 10 hours in the Saturn to and from NWBC. 42 skedoo all the way! :-) The LMHOF has served me very well, (...) -Snip- I think you guys rock. I have no issues with your collective desires/aims for the site. I think you guys made a great decision in sticking to your own opinions only and I respect your efforts. I also approve strongly of your desire to (...) (20 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: Two assault mechs, one anti-mech aircraft

(...) Glad you enjoyed it! I love the chunkiness in the legs and torso of the Masakari and Daishi. They're among my favorites from Mechwarrior, along with the Shadowcat and Loki. (...)   The Lego Mecha Hall of Fame - What do you think?

(URL) When the LMHoF was created back in August 2001, the Founders wanted to present a fan created resource and archive honoring Mecha design. At the time, building Lego Mecha designs was in it's infancy. So when you wanted to see the few designs (...) (20 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Will the real mechsters please stand up

.mecha, home to the few and land of the seldom. We can change that. I am working on attaching the shoulder joints to the central body of my new mecha. I'm using turntables and the body frame is like that of the Rizmit. (so far) White and Dark Grey (...) (20 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

Re: What is Best in Life?

(...) Very cool. The leg design is ingenious. However, from a practical point of view, a three legged bot isn't very, um, practical. Take out one leg, and it looks like those legs could be taken out quite easily, and it's down for the count. Four or (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)

(...) Ahhh...you know the riddle of steel, don't you boy. What can I say, you've saved the best robriq for the Reich...and the State appreciates your sacrifice. Seriously, this moc rocks beyond belief. The leg design is truly inspired. -Keith (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
