Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP)

(...) Mladen, This is another absolute triumph in 'mech design, no doubt about it. I agree with everyone on the joy of the details--the sensor pod/mast, the measured utilitarian "ugliness" that screams of military function, and all the attention put (...) (...) i KNEW it was an AC inspired design :)I have tried to imitate the style from armored core myself, but it is very difficult, alot of the forms dont translate well into lego. But i did like the idea of interchangeable parts so much that i (...) (21 years ago, 30-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Firestorm

(...) Thanks for the replies and suggestions Keith and Frank. I was orignially trying to copy an Armored Core mech but I ran into some problems and strayed from the original design.   Re: Firestorm

(...) VERY nice model. I liked the way you used all the slopes, gave it a very rough and jagged feel to it, but it kept the shape simple. The boosters are also VERY cool. I also really like the back mounted weapons, i assume you are going to make (...) (21 years ago, 22-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

(...) LOL! You (along with Eric) always give the best replies. Thanks Keith! I'm glad this model is epic. And yep, the little chin-gun is all "money" baby.   Re: Firestorm

Brayton, I'm no mecha master, but I think the Firestorm is pretty cool. On the up-side, I really like the legs, specifically the ankle/shin design. The color scheme is good, and the jump-jets are the money. The entire back side of the moc (a (...) (21 years ago, 28-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: New MOC: M-12 Mobile Weapons Platform (MWP)

Mladen, this 5th MWP is epic! The guns...its all about the guns... the machine gun in front is the money, and the leg-mounted rockets look ready to deal some death. As usual, the color scheme is distinctly your style. The brown elements really (...) (21 years ago, 28-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
