Well, so this it. My fifth Mobile Platform. Sigh, I wish I was more excited,
but after almost four years of building them I feel like moving on to
something different.
Aha! But thats what the year 2004 is for; a new objective for me to find. A
new concept. I hope it will be as well received as my Mobile Platforms were
on LUGNET. I will try my hardest to not let you guys down, or myself for that
matter. :-D
BTW, Im definitely going to build something else during the remaining two
weeks of the holiday break, so if this mecha doesnt strike your fancy, well
then youll have something to look forward to.
Enjoy.

im going to have to agree with you: youve definately done quite a few walking
tanks in your time, and i also look forward to seeing something new. HOWEVER,
this latest mecha is yet another example of your expertise with lego
mech-building. the size of it and your attention to detail astounds me. i
really dig all those little guns, rockets, doors/hatches, radar/targeting
equipment, etc. i would have liked to see you go in a new direction with those
cannons, however; ive seen the rectangular shape in your other designs, so a
different shape might have been in order here, imho. they also seem a bit too
small in proportion to the rest of the tank. color scheme is awesome (as you
are famous for doing) and the shape of the main body is definitely
unconventional--which i like. overall another fantastic model (which we should
expect nothing less), but i must admit i am really looking forward to your
creations in 2004.

| (...) -snip- (...) Yep. (...) Thanks Jason. (...) Yah, I know what you mean. Maybe it's cause they're pushed back so much; they just don't project menacing enough. :-) (...) Thanks, and I hope to deliver on my promise of more original stuff in 2004. (...) (21 years ago, 24-Dec-03, to lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
