Sorry for the delay in posting this here - I did have the winners posted at my site on the 8th as promised.

The turnout was exceptional - 35 entries were received by the deadline (not counting my sample Mech) and things were turned over to a panel of volunteer judges.

My plan was to have non-AFOL types judge the contest - that way there’d be no “name recognition” or “current style” issues. To that end, I polled my LiveJournal Friends List and suckered 6 people into the thankless job of filling out a giant spreadsheet for me. The results were tabulated and here’s the results! (Each photo is a link to the full entry)

1st Place: Peer Kreuger’s “UpRev”

2nd Place: Chris Jaynes’ “Pimplink”

3rd Place: Jeff’s “Uplink and Firewall”

4th Place: Worker201’s pimped 7708

5th Place: Jeff Rango’s pimped 7708

6th Place: Thomas F. Kanter’s pimped 7708

The Full Contest Page has the rest of the entries - they’re all worth a look, and each one has been updated with the Judge’s score and commentary.

Thanks again to all who participated! Winners will be contacted this week to claim their swag.
