Whoo! I never thought Id win a something like this... There were plenty of
awesome contenders, and its great to see that lots of folks got involved. (Hey,
almost anyone can shell out $5 for a darn spiffy lego set.) It was a bit hard
since orange isnt a color that Ive got lots of bricks of, but I managed to
make it work. (for example, when I started I didnt have any orange wheels...
but Ive got yellow ones. And Photoshop. Problem solved!)
By the way, I propably missed this, but why doesnt the guy who places second
get any prize? I figure this must be quite a bummer for him, seeing as the final
grades are so close...
But at any rate, thanks for the awesome contest! (And the prize. Obviously.)
(P.S; great work on the site, too. its great to see where everyone ranks on the
different requirements, and the judges comments are very insightful. Give em a
big hug from me.)

| Sorry for the delay in posting this here - I did have the winners posted at my site on the 8th as promised. The turnout was exceptional - 35 entries were received by the deadline (not counting my sample Mech) and things were turned over to a panel (...) (19 years ago, 10-Apr-06, to lugnet.build.mecha, lugnet.announce, lugnet.build.contests, FTX) !!
