  Re: You asked for it!!!

(...) I can probably help-what sort of thing do you need? Rules written up, or will we have the same ones as in the Blacktron I contest? Websites built? I can help with either of those and most other digital aspects. Curt Tigges Commander-in-Chief (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  You asked for it!!!

We will have an Ice Planet 2002 contest in June. This will allow people a chance to plan and clear out their building schedules. (I have a train show in April) Entries should be accepted from June 1st to June 15th and voting will be held from June (...) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests) !

  Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) Well, sort of. One of the standard 4H competition categories is "collections" with "LEGO(r)" as a subcategory. Since everyone else brought in sets, Nik ate their lunch with his MOCs... Where he gets his competitiveness I could not say. :-) (24 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) Well ya! I'll do an entry if I have time. I thought about a BT 1 entry... I have a MIB MIB, you know (and a non MIB one too) and some other BT1 sets, and I am only 2 or 3 sets shy of IP 2002 complete. I marveled at the entries (but of course (...) (...) Larry? What are *you* doing piping in here? Not that you're not welcome, of course, but... do you actually care? -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (24 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) As much as I hate ditto relies...ditto. Ice Planet 2002 in 2002 just makes far to much sense to ignore. Besides, it gives me a reason to blow the dust off all those trans orange canopies. :) -Dave (24 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) I know it's an out of sequence jump, but that has my vote as well. (24 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) Ditto. Ditto ditto. I mean, what, are we going to do Ice Planet 2002 in...2005? Now *that* would be very silly. LFB (24 years ago, 22-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) I'm not worthy! I really didn't think I had a shot at winning anything - the competiton was just too good. Congrats to all of the entrants - and big thanks to the contest organizers. I'm all for Ice Planet in 2002! Thanks - Paul (24 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

Thanks to Jude for coordinating and Scrutinizing the contest! And thanks to everyone who participated! Thanks to everyone else who perused and enjoyed the entries as well- I know you folks are out there. Great job to all of those who participated. (...)   Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) Although I'm really not an Ice Planet fan, I second this. It really does fit 2002 well. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (24 years ago, 21-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

Re: Yet Another ISSC entry, Galloping Goose #7 at Dolores Station

(...) Deadline for entries was "last minute of last day of 2001". But Rene got a huge flood of entries at the last minute, and there is formatting and suchlike that he has to do for each one. So it's taking him some time to get them all posted. I (...) (24 years ago, 20-Jan-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build.contests)

  Re: Blacktron I Contest Results

(...) Yeah, but don't we just HAVE TO do Ice Planet in the year 2002? We have almost a whole year to consider the matter, but I think we should go out of order in this instance. -- Hop-Frog (24 years ago, 19-Jan-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

2nd annual TOWN building contest - early warning!
