(...) Thanks, Bill! You wouldn't believe what a pain it is to add minifig heads to a structure when you're out of 1x2 plates with center studs in black. I had to make use of the hollow studs in 1x1 and 1x2 technic beams quite a bit. --Bram Bram (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Thanks, Tomas! I found a door hinge that works pretty well, and looks reasonably clean while still being applicable in numerous situations, so I use it :) The only problem is that most of my hinges are the kind with the hollow studs. (...) Bram, That's a great hearse, and I am in awe of your ability to create details at such a small scale (ie. the Caddy style grill and the martian arm scrollwork). George (25 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Bram, your models always amaze me. This is very nice. Just like TLC themselves do, you have invented a certain technique (say, for car doors) and use it across different models. One thing I found distracting about this model was the inverted (...) (25 years ago, 29-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.contests)
