 | | Another Ice Planet contest entry!!! ;)
Hehe... this entry is to prod you people into building a decent base entry for the IP contest. Either that, or it'll snag me an easy win if no one wants to one-up me. So, who will be brave enough to rise to the occasion and put an end to this (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space)

(...) Okay, I viewed the contest website and noticed that the description and the element count weren't included, so I got an accurate count. (...) One last minor problem, easily solved: the second file should have been named "Addition_Ames.ldr" as it appears in the ldr file of the main model. Having both files in the same directory, with the second one correctly named, allows someone to (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

 | | Ice Planet Contest Entry! - Frost Fly (Blizzard Baron alternate)
Here's an entry for category VII - Alternates. This one is a Blizzard Baron altnernate, making use of all but 5 of the pieces from the stock set and using nothing outside the set. It's been a while since I've attempted an alternate and I'd forgotten (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Okay, I think I have it now. I saved the ldarw files to my brickshelf folder, so I hope this works. I'm relatively new at this, so I hope I'm not getting you impatient. <<_Matt Hein_>> Lugnet No. 1112 (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Nope, sorry. The current documents look like element lists. A DAT or MPD file will have coordinates plotted. You want to open both MOC MPD files, and export or merely save them as DAT files or MPD files. Try posting those. -- The Ice Worm (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Thanks for the comments! It's great to know that I at least had a viable attempt at a submission. Perhaps I should post here more often :) (many thanks to the coding as well. I'm still a newbie at POV Ray) Oh yeah, Ice Planet is one of my (...) (24 years ago, 15-Jun-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.build.contests)

(...) Thanks. For my first MOC, I didn't know what the response would be. Yes, this was an original design, but the Unitron Starhawk II did inspire me, as well as the X wing, and a personal design of mine based on a story I'm writing as of now. (...)
