Previously, my Cathedral of Ice was just a thin shell of bricks with no significant interior. Now, I've added a full interior and posted several pictures. Brad Hamilton you are amazing. That is the most beautiful Lego Cathedral I have ever seen. I was just having a serious conversation with my girlfriend and I found this and we were both stunned to silence. She didn't even believe it was made with (...) Yep - Actually, the Paradisa windows would be the most effective torture. I have a few of the corners, but none of the straight ones. As for the white round arches, at least the new 7315 (Solar explorer) has 4 of these. Now, I need the inverse (...) Okay, so for some people it would be toothpicks under the fingernails, for others tiny drops of water dropping on their foreheads, and for still others bright flashing lights that deprive them of sleep -- but for Brad it would be those full round (...) Thanks for all the compliments. This one actually took several days to complete. Most of my CAD creations are done in a few hours. I guess CAD building is much faster than real building. This is my most complex CAD structure yet. Here is an overall view: (URL) is the index to all the pictures: (URL) call it the Cathedral of Ice because the two towers look like huge icicles. I did see these and he did an excellant job. As a matter of fact I had just watched the movie "The Colditz Story" a few days ago. For those who want to know, Colditz Castle was a German Jail for POWs who had escaped from other camps. It had the (...) Maybe this is old news. But I did a scan for Colditz last nite and didn't find any hits. Could be sloppy searching. I tend to look at "recent" stuff on brickshelf and sometimes I find stuff that seems recent but actually isn't, just something in the (...) All the 2x1s came from Michael Hader, some via ebay and some via his Box O' Bricks at Dan Jezek's Brickbay. The Fabuland figures and (...) Amidst all the train pictures from PNLTC's G2K event this summer, I saw an amazing 6 sided 6 story yellow concaved wall building. It blew me away. I had never seen bricks used this way.
