New MOCs: Some really tiny NYC landmarks

All: Hi there, everyone! Over the weekend I made some super-tiny scale New York City landmarks. Each is no more than a few inches tall... I made the CitiGroup Center, the Empire State Building, the UN, and the Woolworth Building. The Citigroup (...) (22 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Urban Market/Outdoor Grocer and Newsstand

I have building up my Town layout a lot lately and am planning to construct a building with an outdoor sidewalk market. Since I am much better at COPYING ideas from what others have built, the logical thing to do is to ask here if anyone has done (...) (22 years ago, 15-Dec-02, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

Re: Pics and Comments on New Adventurer Sets

In lugnet.general, Tom Reed writes: <snipped info about the new sets> (...) Thanks Tom for posting the info and pics of the new Adventurers sets. I had a chance to drool over them (except for 4717) at TRU yesterday. I'm glad I was just window (...)   Some more mutilation concepts

The Brick-brick mutilation is based on a repetitive masonry pattern on the side of a 1x4 brick. The 1x4's can either be staggered (crossing lines when stacked) or vertically stacked.   Re: two historic facades

(...) ITTTAPG! (I think that they are pretty good!) I love the arch detail on the fire station, and the ornate detailing on the old bank captures gold rush extravagance. NB: There has been some discussion about how slow Brickshelf is of late. Your (...) (22 years ago, 1-Dec-02, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

(...) connectors to put snotwise detail on vertical surfaces. Just gorgeous. In terms of images, I definitely favour smaller files and faster load times in my own images, aiming for a 50k max (alright, maybe a 60k absolute max) and I keep upping the (...)   two historic facades

I have finally got around to putting up some images of two historic facades I have done recently: (URL) in a magnificent display of patience waited until the brickshelf folder was moderated before posting this message, so no need to post deep links (...)
