The Michigan Lego Train Club displayed in Livonia this past Sunday. While this was an extremely small layout for us because of limited setup time, I think we had a very strong display with a lot of great detail. Many of the buildings have already (...) Hey John, This looks really nice. It preserves all of the key features of the original, but in addition to freeing up space it will also free up a lot of elements (all those windows, railings, blue slopes, etc) for future projects. When I built my chateau a few years back, it was simply an exercise of love-- bulk bricks had just become available, and the doors to creating larger and more complicated and detailed MOCs were opened.
