  Re: Romanesque Church

(Sean Devolites) (...) Well, I started it on April 15th, when I went over to get the photos of the real church. It was done about a week or two before the GATS show July 12th... so the easy answer is about two and a half months. Actual building time (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

Great Job Peter! Its a beautiful church! It looks accurate, and even if you left off a few things, it still looks detailed. How long did it take you to build? Hasta La Vista, Sean (...) (22 years ago, 26-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

Peter & All, (...) This is a breathtaking creation, Peter. I was fortunate to sit next to it for most of the GATS Grand Rapids show, and it is stunning. You really captured the feel and look the the original, and it is just fabulous. I am looking (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

(...) tried to do that myself a few times, I know the amount of work that goes into such an ordeal ... The main tower is splendid. I am glad you stayed true to the colors of the actual church (grey) and that you posted the real pictures for (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

The "rounded" bay via hinges and a clever roof works very (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Romanesque Church

(...) Hi Peter, I was just checking this out. (I remembered it from the train show too...I wondered who built it). I really like the details, the sand green stripes on the roof. Very nice. The only thing I don't like is the use of white for the (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Romanesque Church

Some of you may have seen pictures from MichLUG's July 2002 GATS appearance of my church model. As I seek to find/create the perfect Lego building, that can be played with by my six year old nephew and not destroyed within five minutes, I have yet to see any good plans for an elevator system. Has anyone seen anything out there? Either (...) (22 years ago, 9-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Microscale City - Kehaar

(...) Thanx! (...) This is strictly a fun MLCAD exercise...I don't even have all of these pieces. I can build some of them, but not all, and definitely not all of them at once. And the color choices aren't strictly by-the-book on some pieces, at (...) (22 years ago, 4-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Microscale City - Kehaar

(...) Yeah, but if there's a significance in my choosing it, I'm not aware of it. It just sounded like a cool city name. I know I just really got into the "small-scale underground city" idea of the book, and maybe this tripped something in my head (...) (22 years ago, 2-Oct-02, to lugnet.build.arch)
