Re: What do YOU do with face-less heads?

(...) Look good, I was debating just last night what to do with all my blank black heads from my Siths, now I am sure of it, columns. Looks like a neat little town, I'll have to check out some of the other pictures. I like what you used for the (...) (23 years ago, 4-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: My first tiny house

George- I got that angle by putting the building on the edge of my picnic table and me sitting on the ground. Pretty easy and great effect. Sarah (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: My first tiny house

Shiri- Thanks! The columns came after the house had been "done" for about a week and a half... but then I was looking at it and I thought, "wait a minute! what house could possibly be complete with out skulls holding up the roof?" Just my kooky (...) (23 years ago, 23-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

(...) columns to build the jutting part (I forget what it's called!) and to make it extra sturdy, while keeping the creepy and aesthetical elements going. The tree looks better than many I've seen. Keep it up! -Shiri (23 years ago, 22-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  My first tiny house

Hello, Joel has always razzed me about the size of my houses. So I tried a "selectively compressed" house... what ever that really means I have no idea. But here it is. It's a creepy little widows house. I made it for Halloween. All the bats on the (...) (23 years ago, 20-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Spamcake Diner Franchised!

John: (...) I really like the idea, but I am afraid the local planning authorities would complain loudly. The architectural advisor of the city council discourages buildings that don't go well with the existing buildings in the downtown area. Do the (...) (...) I need to sit down and do it sometime soon for Raleigh... I'm in possesion of the signature dog (and I have the requisite yellow macaronis). (23 years ago, 16-Oct-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: Spamcake Diner Franchised!

(...) I think it's a great idea! Every layout that has room for it should have a "restaurant row" with recognisable national (and regional) icons... It is a real crowd pleaser when they recognise the various chains(1), it starts conversations and is (...) (23 years ago, 16-Oct-01, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.town, lugnet.build.arch)

  Spamcake Diner Franchised!

The history behind the term "spamcake" is a funny one, germinating from Tom McDonald's hilariously creative spamblock warning sigs. Do a search for "spamcake" in off-topic.fun sometime if you don't know what I'm talking about. When Tom came out with (...)   Re: The BrickTopia Disney Store

Thanks for the compliments! (As an aside, it's better to keep the language family-style in case younger folks are reading. I appreciate your expletive though in emphasizing your positive opinion.)   Re: The BrickTopia Disney Store

Thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately, this building is attached to about 6 baseplates, so its not really transportable. I thought about making it possible to detach, but it became too complex because it is penetrated by the monorail on the (...) (23 years ago, 14-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.arch)

  Re: The BrickTopia Disney Store

  Re: The BrickTopia Disney Store

Thanks, My building time is often done with the baby (in a sling) or while he is sleeping or feeding. I will change "most" diapers except for the really gross ones which are simply beyond my abilities! I think it took me over three weeks to make (...) (23 years ago, 14-Oct-01, to lugnet.build.arch)
