  Re: Cycloplin: a one-man airship

Patches! Beautiful! Man, I am so loving these medieval-tech style MOCs - I must now make one for myself! And dude - the patches are inspired! They are pure genius! Pure excellence of the highest degree! Now... ROLL FOR INITIATIVE!! -Lenny (20 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Cycloplin: a one-man airship

(...) Nice job, Kevin. I've never seen one one these modeled in Lego before. Where did you get the idea? Somehow, the movie Waterworld comes to mind. My favorite detail is the wizard's hat. I guess it wasn't necessary for TLC to make a one-piece (...) (20 years ago, 12-Dec-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Cycloplin: a one-man airship

(...) Lots to like there in a very small space. It's like an "air vignette"! I think my fave part is the wizard's hat. We get so used to using the cast hat that we all forget that there are other ways to make it! That's pretty clever. Are the rubber (...)   Cycloplin: a one-man airship

Hello. I made a one-man airship. The person peddles to make the flap-dealies move, causing the whole thing to move. I used Bruce Lowells sphere. This particular cycloplin has been around for a while, so the owner, a wizard, has had to patch a few (...)   Re: The Brick Testament: The Book of Joshua Concludes

(...) Thanks, Bruce! (...) Yeah there are a few different faces for the maxifigs (though I did photoshop less-than-happy mouth shapes in these images).   Re: The Brick Testament: The Book of Joshua Concludes

(...) Hi, Stephane. Thanks. I will try to maintain my level of craftsmanship and story re-telling. :) (...) Well, in my reading, Yahweh doesn't actually kill Moses himself either--at least not directly (he doesn't strike him dead or anything). But (...)   Re: The Brick Testament: The Book of Joshua Concludes

Hi, Lenny. Hey, remember when we first met in person at BrickFest PDX, and we talked about how people's visages don't always match up to how you've pictured them in your mind? And since your name on LUGNET always appears in the header as "Leonard (...) (20 years ago, 9-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: The Brick Testament: The Book of Joshua Concludes

Hey Brendan, Great work as always! Massacre of the Anakim - I didn't reallize there were different faces for the big round-headed figs. Brendan, great stuff, as usual. Keep it up :) On a more biblical note.... I half expected Yawheh to kill Joshua himself like he did with Moses. O_o (20 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament: The Book of Joshua Concludes

Brendan, This (URL) photo> is simply beautiful. So much emotion wrapped up in there - almost as if you pitty Joshua in that photo.   Re: The Brick Testament: Joshua and the Israelites Massacre Twenty-Nine Kingdoms
