(...) -snip- (...) Brendan- Superb!!! It's a pleasure to click through the pictures and find one after another building technique gems. Truly, there are so many great ideas in every story. Equally impressive is the photography. Believe it or not, as (...) (21 years ago, 26-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

(...) Not that I know, no. (...) Here's Technic fig skis: (URL) (...) I'm glad you did not use Ior from the Duplo line when you did the animal thing with the bear in the last set of stories BTW: (URL) Personally I'd laugh even harder but I suspect (...)   Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

Hi Brendan! There would appear like there's no reason to say, "Good work chap" since its always-good work when you've been handling those bricks, still: Good work chap! So, let's do this the long and hard way again :) Rape Dt 22:23. Don't worry, the (...) (21 years ago, 24-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

Is it just me or does the guy from the bar scene in "Rape" look like Begbie from Trainspotting? (21 years ago, 23-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

As always Brendan, your work is Godly. :-) I especially enjoyed the dark gray minifig hand you used to make automatic rifles, and the brown minifig arms for excrements. :-) Good use of tan for the tanks. As for soldiers, I guess you didn't you (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

Hey Brendan, Great work as always. Rape: I like the busy-ness of the bar with all the bottles and glasses etc. The striped bedspread is especially nice, as is the microfig farm scene. Newlyweds: Great detail that there is the unfocused background in (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

(...) Thanks, Chris. The whole time I spent working on Genesis, Exodus, and The Wilderness, I kept lamenting the fact that there was a whole section of my LEGO collection that seemed would never get used in The Brick Testament: any minifig head with (...)   Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

Hi, Soren. (...) One should always keep a barf bag on hand when perusing my LEGO creations. (...) I had an alternate photo where I used brown 1x2 plates. It looked more LEGO, but not quite as disturbing. Of course, I chose the more disturbing path. (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

(...) You're just lucky I finished photographing these stories before I saw the Station 62 write-up. I'm sure I could have found a way to work a minifig Keith Goldman into the background of some scene. With a bear! (...) Yeah, with all the dead (...)   Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

Brendan, 'more laws..' are classic. Highlights: Rape: The broken necks of the minis at the gates, the glass-rack over the bar, the hay bales in the barn, and my personal fave, the effectively blurry gunshot wound to the head. I think that frame is a (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

Your talent makes me sick. The barbed wire, the motel beds, the little pile of feces, they just look right (or in the case of the last, very, very wrong). This time, though, I have some nitpicks: (1) The assault rifles. Typically, the clips are (...) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

Nice. I bet there are a fair few people who wouldnt mind it if the stuff said under "Nm 35:11" were true today :) (21 years ago, 22-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: More Illustrated Laws at The Brick Testament

(...) As usual Brendan, always a fun read. I rather enjoy the law - it's a nice change of pace to see modern type stuff done in your style. I always like your designs for beds and chairs and whatnot.
