Just for the heck of it I've added another story to the site today -- the
one I came across while Jon Furman was leading me astray with his
half-remembered Old Testament tales.  @8^)

Hi Brendan,

I'd just like to say that I'm a huge a fan of the Brick Testament and that
you've done an extremely good job - somehow it manages to be humorous and
revolting at the same time.

I think Lego is an even better medium for the Bible than the Bible itself,
as you skip many of the more tedious repetitiveness and chants & prayers
which just don't interest me, and you go straight for the story.

I'm Atheist, but I remember my old religion classes when I was a kid, and
they *DEFINITELY* weeded out what they didn't want us to know, and many of
the bloodier and dirtier stories, we NEVER heard about. I never suspected
Yawheh was so evil and cruel.

Some parts are so grotesque and/or contradictory, or just don't make sense.
Why would God want to kill Moses right after he gives an important task to
him, all because his son wasn't circumsized?

Keep up the good work. Lego "cartoon" is fascinating, and the Brick
Testament has become *THE* standard upon which all Lego cartoon are judged.

Oh, and I loved those trans-orange firebolts.
WHY did God killed Aaron's sons anyway??? Every time I see the last page of
a story "--- The End ---", I chuckle and say to myself, "And the moral of
the story IS ????? "   LOL  :-)

Your usage of minifig faces is very interesting. I noticed you deliberately
use the classic generic smiley whenever people are "naively obedient". Am I
correct in my assumption? :-)

Hi, again. Just for the heck of it I've added another story to the site today -- the one I came across while Jon Furman was leading me astray with his half-remembered Old Testament tales. @8^) You can find it here: (URL) Smith (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)
