Seems I've been mixing up my stories about priests of the Lord being offed
for their sins! The passage I'm referring to is actually later on (Samuel
2:22-), but the similarities are strikingly similar. Occasionally I get my
stories mixed up, you can imagine the horror I caused one time when I told
the kids in the neighborhood about that time Elisha had the she-bears come
from the woods to maul the disciples Who were passing out the 5 loaves and 7
lampstands!
Anyway, I'm sorry that I had you looking around for something that wasn't
there! I'll be pretty excited to see how you do the she-bears at least. I
was wondering why you might have censored that part of the story since it
kind of defeated your purpose, but now I know how wrong I was! - Thanks

| (...) It's OK. In doing so I found a nice little bit of narrative in Leviticus that I'd inadvertantly skipped over. I think I'll try to add it to the site next week. I'm pretty sure it's the first stoning in the Bible. And one directly mandated by (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)
