Tre.. tre cool.

I just wanted to post and say the 1x6 trans-orange bricks to be used as 'fire'
was seriously cool.  They kinda looked like jagged lightning, and I said
'PAZZOW!' when I saw that image.  It seemed so ... fast.. to me, so *I* think
it was cool.

This project is really kinda shaming me.  You see, I'm the son of a 'real'
reverend (meaning someone who is actually revered by the community at large -
ha ha) and I once prouded myself on my knowledge of biblical stories.  I'm
really not aware of many of the ones you've chosen to illustrate.  But i think
that's really just a product of the Sunday school mentality of the 'clean'
Bible stories (although a little genocide gets through every now and then).

I think this project is a wonderful one!  I'm glad to see you keep doing it.

It's strange because my sister has recently converted to Islam and she's
developed a kind of .. well, mindless acceptance of the Koran. The funny thing
is that she's never really read the Koran. She hasn't read what she believes,
and I think most christians haven't either.  The Brick Testament, if nothing
else, is a small reminder of what the Bible actually says - not what we want it
to say.  And the implications...

anyways, great stuff as always.
it's even inspired me to do my own story, conciously (sp) 'stealing' BT's
style. http://www.lugnet.com/~1168/beyhadur/

A new main section called "The Wilderness" has been added to The Brick
Testament to cover the continuing narrative stories from the books of
Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.  We kick things off with five new
illustrated stories which can be found here:
