Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

Hi, again. Just for the heck of it I've added another story to the site today -- the one I came across while Jon Furman was leading me astray with his half-remembered Old Testament tales. @8^) You can find it here: (URL) Smith (22 years ago, 8-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

(...) I've found when washing LEGO that tiles get very sticky when wet, perhaps you can use that and blaim rain or something :) (...) In fact, the prelouge to the third Book of Moses (what ever that is in English) in my year 2000 translation says (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

(...) It's OK. In doing so I found a nice little bit of narrative in Leviticus that I'd inadvertantly skipped over. I think I'll try to add it to the site next week. I'm pretty sure it's the first stoning in the Bible. And one directly mandated by (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

Tre.. tre cool. I just wanted to post and say the 1x6 trans-orange bricks to be used as 'fire' was seriously cool. They kinda looked like jagged lightning, and I said 'PAZZOW!' when I saw that image. It seemed so ... fast.. to me, so *I* think it (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

(...) Seems I've been mixing up my stories about priests of the Lord being offed for their sins! The passage I'm referring to is actually later on (Samuel 2:22-), but the similarities are strikingly similar. Occasionally I get my stories mixed up, (...)   Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

(...) Thanks, Jon. (...) That bull ate not just a croissant, but also two cherries, a carrot, four hot dogs, an apple, a grey toupee, and red plume. (...) I had to look up what "shekinah" means, but thanks. @8^) (...) Flak about LEGO sex does not (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

(...) Thanks, Tobbe. (...) Sigh. This is one of those very few instances where I felt like there was really nothing else I could do but "cheat". I used a little non-LEGO sticky stuff to temporarily hold the blood onto the side of their heads. I feel (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

The look on Aarons face is priceless, almost as if he doesn't know what he's being roped into, but is pretty sure it isn't going to be pretty! great work again. I am wondering if the sacrificed animal ate the croissant, or if the croissant is (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)

Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

(...) Thanks, Bruce. (...) Those are the chin-strap section of white space/motorcycle helmets. I have lots and lots of those now from when I hand-carve God's white hairpiece out of a white helmet hair each time I make a Holy Trinity custom set to (...)   Re: The Brick Testament enters The Wilderness

Brendan, Great work as always. Aaron Becomes a Priest: I love the flower-turban. Aaron looks a bit like a hippy. My favorite beast is the ram--I've always like your upsidedown construction on these (I think I noticed this first in the cows in (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.build.ancient)
