Sid, hey, glad you liked the skyline.  I was inspired by the Hong Kong
skyline from my recent trip to China, but I knew that the only way I'd be
able to pull off a whole skyline would be in miniature.  Is this a popular
scale at which to build?  Is there a LUGENT group devoted to miniature
scale?

Popular? Depends on who you ask. Me and the Sproats seem to love it. :-) A
lot of people like it, but few people have built models to micro- or
nano-fig scale. I'm digging up some links right now...

Aha!

Jeremy's ships:

From Don Bruce, who has some cool stuff that I barely noticed (I should go
back and take a look)... this is Colditz:

Chris Tracey's train layout idea:

And my own Helfire:

Those are the only much-less-than-minifig-scale models that I've seen. (I'm
not counting "classic" scale or train weirdo scales. Sorry ;-) If anyone
knows of any others, LMK!

It would be really cool to see a nice skyline made to nanofig or microfig
scale...

Hi, guys. Thanks for the comments. It's much appreciated. George, do you have any special requests for small animal match-ups? I do have Jar-Jar vs. a gladiator with an axe, but I could go smaller. We could have, say, a stick-weilding monkey vs. a (...) (23 years ago, 12-Jun-01, to lugnet.build.ancient)
