On this we can both agree.

We have slightly different portfolios of hobbies, I guess. I love studying
organizations and groups and group dynamics to try to understand why they
are the way they are. But ya, you're right. Understanding why something is
the way it is if you have *zero* chance of affecting it may not be all that
interesting. (picture the English anorak... standing on the platform
counting the cars on each train as it goes by the local railway station. He
knows every detail of what trains go where and when, but even with all that
internal knowledge, he can't do a thing about a line closure!)
Still, maybe part of the reason I DO speculate about this org gorp is in the
wish that I can find some way of changing things (other than inserting money
into the input hopper the way we all do, which isn't much of a lever to pull
on, is it?) a little bit. Certainly you won't begrudge me a little wishing,
will you? :-) Don't let my wishing... what is the phrase?... get up your
snout. :-) Yes. That's it there.

You are correct, sir. Point taken, they are indeed very different.
I hope the pitchfork does come back and, unlike the mono motor, can't see
any reason why it is any less likely to do so than any other simple element.
Because, as you say, none of us have no idea whether it's an old or new
mold, how many shots it has left in it, etc. etc.
I would hope, though, that the fact that I am wishing *harder* for the 1x1x1
window and the 1x2x3 window to come back is not taken as a slight on
pitchfork fans everywhere. (and pitchforks ARE useful and worthy items,
don't get me wrong)
You touched on a good point, what is the line between wanting *your* stuff
badly and begrudging that someone else got *their* wish first? In the past I
think you thought I had crossed it.
It is a line I do not *want* to cross (and if in the past I gave the
impression that I had, it sincerely was not my intent).

Yep. One question, who is claiming authority? Not me. All I claim is that my
speculation may be a bit better than someone elses. (but then, that's the
sort of charming guy I am, it's a wonder my head fits through normal doors
some days) I think this misunderstanding may be part of where we stumbled a
bit in the past.
