I was thinking this too! :) I can see it now: Dr. Cyber
minifigs with Islander heads and white maiden hats to represent
clowns piling into the little 8-wide VW...
I can almost smell the stale beer and popcorn!
Great little car, though. Are those actual minifig chairs?
They do look a little small given the "meatiness" of the rest
of the model.

| (...) Thanks! They are minifig chairs. Since I didn't want to use up the 2x3 stud footprint usually required for each non-prefabricated chair, and since VW seats are small and unsupportive, I decided to use the minifig chairs. --Bram Bram Lambrecht (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jun-01, to lugnet.build)
