I think so too. That is why I set the follow-ups to go to lugnet.dear-lego
James J.
P.S.: After thinking about it, the hoods from the Star Wars Emperor's guards or
ninjas would be interesting if used on a bishop...

It would be nice if The LEGO Group would save fans the trouble by offering
pre-made chess boards so that we could build our own themes. I would like to
see in a SAHS Catalog boards made in the the following color combinations:
- Black & White (Standard)
- Tan & Brown (For that Classic look)
- Blue & Gray (great for Civil War/Calvary battles)
- Orange & Cool Purple, or Red & Blue (for those who prefer fun colors
over tradition)
- True Green and [Pale] "Statue" Green (for those with a LOT of soccer
players...)
Lastly,
- Red & Black (It also doubles as a checkerboard!)
These boards should include chess-related elements that would ordinarily be
rare to LEGO sets, such as 2 horses per color (with saddles matching the
board colors), 2 gold crowns, Board-matching "Princess" hats, 2 different wig
styles for each of the queens, 2 different colored male wigs, broadswords for
the 4 knights, and other minor things you can add to your own LEGO Collection.

| I should have done this during my earlier post. I just want to introduce myself. My name is Drew Setter and I'm waiting for my registration information to process so I can become a full fledged member. I've been lurking around lugnet for awhile now (...)
