Hokay.

I'm not a vain man.  I know that I am no, say, Brad Hamilton or Mark Sandlin.

But I am genuinely curious- how is it that this post got absolutely no
responses, either positive or negative?   I know I didn't include a line that
said "please let me know what you think", but I thought that was obvious- after
all, if I didn't want to know what people thought, I wouldn't have posted
pictures of it on the internet.

Anyway, whassup with that?  Can anyone help me out here?  Do I have food stuck
between my teeth or something?

I've finally taken pics of the project that preceded the Fuji Power Armor.

I've dubbed this one simply "Project 1138" for now.  It's an experimental
aircraft, and an attempt to encorporate WWII styling into a "futuristic"
aircraft.

For the time being, its only armament is one nose-mounted gunpod.  The
gunpod's
systems are designed to be removed easily and replaced with other loadouts,
such as spy cameras, etc.  The 1138 can also carry up to 12 rockets, but that
hardly seems necessary for test flights.

Pics of the 1138 and intrepid Ace Test Pilot "Dash" Dickendacker can be found

(...) *embarrassed cough* I uh, meant to go back and look at it, but I forgot. :^( It does seem rather X-Wing-ish, but I can see how it has a bit of WWII flair as well, like the partially open cockpit. I like the detailing in the cockpit. Lots of (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Well, I'm not sure, but perhaps there are three possible answers to your question: 1. People are beginning to get photo fever and are getting tired of looking at the beautiful pictures of your and everyone else's model. (Not too likely, IMHO.) 2. (...) (23 years ago, 19-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

I don't recall seeing your firs post, anyway I like it, the overall shape is nice and I love the intakes on the sides. I'm going to have to try that way of making tale fins. Gary Lorbaat <eric@nospam.thirteen.net> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

Since I don't look at a lot of mecha maybe my palate is fresh. I kinda like the 1x2 grilla tile usage -- I hate those parts but you used 'em good. Also the round knobs at the thighs. Interesting details. The other day I started buying Throwbots and (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)

I know I oohed and ahhed over it in person, but it's worth doing again. Sadly, the pictures don't really do the model justice .... it's difficult to get good feels for the aspects I liked the best from the photos. Ayway, I loved the air intakes - (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jan-01, to lugnet.general)
