Since I can't seem to be able to post the DAT file to lugnet.cad.dat
(that problem is being worked on), here's a picture of my model:
http://library.advanced.org/20551/temp/18wheelr.jpg
and here's the dat file

Please let me know what you think!

Bram,

Great Truck!  Beautiful use of the quarter-disk bricks to shape the
front top of the sleeper on the cab.   The scale is very nice, as well.

Good design.

later,
James

Thanks!  The entire truck came around because of those quarter-disk
bricks.  I only have two, from a Freestyle bucket, and I was wondering
what to do with them.  I ended up building the sleeper portion of the
truck and then decided to build it at the the scale of the two trucks
I've designed in LDraw but never built.  I needed to use a piece to
attach the quarter circle better, so that's where the yellow arrow design
came from.  I continued the design in the trailer.  The real life arrows
on the side of the truck aren't as smooth as the LDrawn ones because I
have almost no yellow 1 x 1 plates. :(
The last thing I changed was the fifth wheel - it was inspired by the one
on the 5571 Giant Truck.
