And on there somewhere is a link to Paulo's dat2dxf converter.
There is also a zip file containing a few sample conversions.
I have yet to use the actual program....as the bricks I needed
were there in the zip file....though I will be shortly.

And here I have a proposition:
Get a rendered image of your Ldraw model, and help me to learn
3dstudio! Send your .dat files (not too big please!)
to me at the address that follows:

Certainly. They both demonstrate studs, as opposed to actual bricks.
I was very tired when I wrote it.....
The picture I had hoped to demonstrate how bricks on different levels
should relate to each other. I think what would be best might be a
little picture, and put it on my site, as that might provide a
clearer idea!

have actually done a render of bricks in 3dstudio, using Paulo's
dat2dxf
piccies.

Oba! I am glad someone is using it!

It isn't a good picture, and the accompanying description is
quite poor, too, but I hope it will make clearer what I was attempting
to
describe. I still have a few shots left on the film in a camera, and
will
construct a corner, and photograph it, which will hopefully better
explain
it!
The address is: http://freespace.virgin.net/richard.dee/pyr.htm

I see! Now I understand it!

Paulo

where can I get the above mentioned DXF converter?
