Certainly. They both demonstrate studs, as opposed to actual bricks.
I was very tired when I wrote it.....
The picture I had hoped to demonstrate how bricks on different levels
should relate to each other. I think what would be best might be a
little picture, and put it on my site, as that might provide a
clearer idea!

I have actually done a render of bricks in 3dstudio, using Paulo's dat2dxf
piccies. It isn't a good picture, and the accompanying description is
quite poor, too, but I hope it will make clearer what I was attempting to
describe. I still have a few shots left on the film in a camera, and will
construct a corner, and photograph it, which will hopefully better explain
it!

I don't understand how this makes a pyramid.  Does the pyramid rise
with a less steep angle now?  Are these three lines one vertical section?
Maybe I'm just being dense....
