(...) It is? I always thought there were some kind of valves inside it which split the air into different nozzles depending on the air flow direction. But then again, I only had one as a kid, and never did any experiments with it. Fredrik (26 years ago, 23-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)

(...) After seeing the diagram in that old Technic set, it makes more sense that this is a valve block, without valves somewhere the piston would just slide back down. Which leads me to think that the pneumatic switch is different now and has (...) (26 years ago, 23-Oct-98, to lugnet.build)
