I have just uploaded a number of pictures of some new models. These are the first non-Star Wars models that I have posted since comming out of my dark ages. Please let me know what you think. (...) I've built an eight-wide train for my 4.5V tracks, too. Unfortunately, it's very difficult to get enough friction with the track when you don't use train wheels for the drive wheels. Thanks to everyone for your comments. I am thinking of starting a Railroad module using a somewhat scaled down version of the GMLTC modules and I think the Semi's will be included along with a warehouse or other delivery/tranfer point with the (...) (...) Yes, they are a bit wider, that is true. But the extra width can be as little as 4 inches a side (in fact on some spine cars it's 0) which in a total width of 10 feet is less than LEGO resolution. (...) I made a more scaled container awhile back. check out (URL) I have since changed the car that carrys the container, to a shared bogie unit. With 4 containers long stacked two containers high. It loaded fine for me here at work, but I know for a fact it won't load at home, even though I am using Communicator 4.61 at both locations, both on NTWS 4.0 SP4. (...) 10 for width yes. Container height and length vary. 40 used to be standard but there now are 20s, 30s, 40s, 44s and 50s I believe. I dunno what the standard height is. Lego reuses good ideas. The Maersk set sleeper cab is also 5 wide. Also, I believe one of my favorite tow trucks has a 5 wide equipment bed: (URL) recall getting a bunch of these when S@H was blowing them out in early 1998. Aspiring builders of 5 (...)
