Thanks for the positive feedback. Wed hoped other folks would enjoy our
strange experiment!
Nicole and I really like the avatar idea, too. Im going to play around with
that and see if we can pull it together. I think that combined with some of the
other feedback will make for a simpler and more intuitive system than we have
now.
We do have an overall story plotted out and were writing scripts that are a
great help when we get down to the photo sessions. Shooting and editing take a
good bit of time, so were planning on putting out a new episode every two
weeks. We have an RSS feed linked on the home page (or directly at
http://www.twilson.com/mercurials/feed/) and Ill try to make that a more
obvious option so its easier to keep up with new episodes.
Over the next few episodes our heroes will be moving out of the stasis room,
through corridors, into other rooms, and even up a maintenance conduit. There
will be some actions scenes fairly soon, too.
Ive been building the sets sort of as you would a movie set, with removable
walls to get the camera in there, and different ways to reconfigure them. Its
hard some times to get out of the mode of building a regular MOC; I have to
think No, this doesnt actually have to move or stand up to play, it just has
to LOOK like it would.
Thanks again. The feedback is a big help.

| (...) I really like the avatar idea, it would definately help, as the cast expands. But this is a really great start. There's so much detail, I feel like you know where you are going with it (something lacking from so many web comics). The mystery (...) (17 years ago, 13-Jul-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)
