Il Duomo,the magnificent ribbed dome of the cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, located in Florence Italy. (URL) I've seen this SNOT technique used often on many MOC's but have never seen it used as extensively as in this model. The technique (which (...) Hi Arthur, (...) Ah yes, you did! Cutting one out of thousand or more elements is acceptable. (...) I wouldn't change the dome itself built with the red bricks. Just try to fix the white flex-axles a bit different so that they point more to the top (...) (17 years ago, 5-Jun-07, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Hi, Arthur. Excellent model! That downside-out building method really does allow you to capture the feel of this cathedral at this scale in a way that "normal" building would not. I'm also happy to see you've added the new outdoor photos to your (...) (17 years ago, 8-Jun-07, to lugnet.build)
