  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

(...) Thanks Eric, Just don't zoom in too close. I am still trying to perfect the art of photgraphing Lego. I am trying to get the lighting right since I can't use a flash. The pics don't always come out super clear.... As for the tan tooth and (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

(...) Thanks for the comments! I tried to put as much detail as possible into this. It is a different type of monster to build minifig scale as opposed to Miniland scale. Miniland scale being so much larger, you can make things super detailed. But I (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: Hotel Coral Essex

(...) Very nice. I was admiring it in the SPLTC event pictures. Excellent layering of detail pieces. Are more pictures coming of this? It's hard to see the sides and no pictures of the back. (...) I'm very curious about these magnets. Have you tried them? How tight is the fit into the tubes? Also, do the 2x2 tiles sit properly with the small magnets underneath? Hey Bill, this is a very nice build. I showed it to my lady friend and she could not believe how cool it is. I quote: "Your gonna have to zoom in on that one, I can't believe that's Lego." Mean while I'm starring at the loads of 1x1 tooth pates and (...) (21 years ago, 7-Jul-05, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Seaside Castle

Nice MOC. I especially like the multiple levels. It suggests multiple lines of defense. I also like the way you incorporated a sloped roof into the castle design. That always makes it more interesting. I also like the way this is built on a spit of (...) (21 years ago, 3-Jul-05, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.ancient, FTX)

  Wolves of the Calla

Hello all, Threw together another Dark Tower vignette. This one is from Book 5: Wolves of the Calla. Not much too this one, as the horse and wheel chair take up a lot of space.   Re: MOC Chess Set

(...) I like the chess set as well, but I share Matt's concern. Onsolution would be to magnatize the pieces and board. I'd put a very small, but strong, magnet under each tile (URL).   Re: MOC Chess Set

(...) Not too critical - OK, I'll start with a minor criticisim that the pieces seem to big for easy play with the board, but I haven't played it so I wouldn't know for sure.
