SCLTC will manage the construction of the world’s largest United States flag made entirely of LEGO bricks at the 2005 Orange County Fair. Members of the public are invited to participate in this record breaking attempt to create a flag 12 feet long and over 6 feet high using approximately 200,000 LEGO bricks!

After consulting both with officials at LEGO Public Relations in Enfield, CT and Jacob McKee, the LEGO Global Community Relations Specialist, SCLTC confirmed that a flag this size would indeed be a record setter. SCLTC has applied to Guinness World Records to officially sanction the record breaking attempt and has received all the necessary documents to certify the application.

Construction gets underway Friday July 15 and will continue through the weekend.
