I've made a Technic Beach Buggy with independent front suspension.  It
is made in the Technic LEGO style, meaning that the body is not full; it
is only outlined by the Technic bricks.

I'm not too happy with the front windscreen and the seats, but hey, it's
only LEGO.  If you want to, you can take a look at it by going to

    http://www.math.uio.no/~fredrigl/technic/

and clicking on the Beach Buggy in the "What's New?" section to the
left.

I have not provided LDraw instructions for it yet.  I will when all the
parts used become official.

LMKWYT.

(...) Exceedingly clever use of those new pieces. That's what I think. It took me several minutes of close examination to fathom the articulation of the control arms. Then I was impressed. Very clever indeed. :-) -- Terry K -- (25 years ago, 7-Jun-99, to lugnet.build)

(...) (URL) the page, it says that due to the lower suspension arm being shorter, the angle of the wheel changes a tiny bit with suspension travel. I'm having trouble imagining which way the wheels would tilt, but could this be adapted to provide (...) (25 years ago, 24-Jun-99, to lugnet.build)
