SNIPPY Whats the deal with cat's bieng EVIL? not true. it's just the eyes. Lookie, it's MR BOO-BOO KITTY!: (URL) you think about it, it sounds a lot like something Dr. Evil would say, fooden levitation, humon, ... you get the idea.) I have a cat (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Cats and Lego

(...) Perhaps, I've got three. All of them are black. (...) NO! Cats are aware of your affinity for Lego and will mess with your brick to torture you. Always remember, cats are evil at heart. Always. Especially the ones that pretend to be nice. They (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.people, FTX)

  Re: Cats and Lego

(...) I have both cats and dogs, but only the cats have shown any interest. I think they're intrigued by the sound as I sift through buckets. They also like to play hockey with the occasional piece that hits floor. We have hardwood floors, so it is (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Cats and Lego

(...) I'll see what I can do; it might take a couple of days to get cooperation from the bird. Not to mention the massive Christmas baking we're doing in the next couple of days. Steve (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

(...) I HAVE to see pictures! Matt (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Cats and Lego

(...) There do seem to be a lot cat people around here, eh? Maybe it's because cats require less time/care than other types of pets, but are still reasonably amenable to attention. Our cat never paid much attention to our lego, but she was fairly (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

(...) Wow. The scale of this project is amazing. You really nailed the real life building as well. I like the layered arches and the turrets. I'm jealous of your window collection, some of those sizes are near impossible to find. The sheep in the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

(...) Right, 3 layers but only 2 radii since you use the 2x1x5x4 in both the smaller layers. That's what I thought but I wasn't quite sure from that vantage point. Another key point is that you offset the layers by only one. Many other people do a (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

Hi Larry, once more: (...) Perhaps that is helping: (URL) Andreas Böker (abhf) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, FTX)

  Re: MOC: Half-timbered house

Hi Larry, (...) the arches are quite simpel: 1.layer: arch 1x12x3 (#6108) width 12 studs 2.layer: 2x arch 1x5x4 (#2339) with one stud distance between the two arches -> width= 5+1+5 = 11 studs 3.layer: 2x arch 1x5x4 (#2339) with no stud distance (...)   Cats and Lego

A bit of a random mad post so stay with me. Ok, so scanning through Brickshelf, I've noticed a lot of pics of Lego MOCs and cats. If I took the pictures I'd have the same, except my cats would be kicking the crap out of my stuff. But are Lugnetters (...) (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

In lugnet.announce.moc, Andreas Böker wrote: (snip) Whoa! MAJORLY cool. It's like CCC on steroids! LOTS to like in that model. Spotlighted. Can you provide a shot of the arches looking up? (...) Nice work Bill :) I love yer work. You do an awesome job. (21 years ago, 17-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Taz

(...) When I first was this on Brickshelf (before you posted here), I thought it was a new set (and franchise-endorsment) from LEGO. I was amazed by how great it looked. You really got the perfect look for it! About your question, I'd be glad to (...) (21 years ago, 14-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Taz

(...) Thanks Derek! The piece count isn't too high. The majority of the bricks are from the brown brick service pack with some brown plate from Legoland pic-a-brick thrown in. But unfortunately I can't sell them. With copyrighted images I can make (...) (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Taz

(...) Yes sir, you are correct! I was talking about the turntable, and none were available on bricklink. Although I think a few have made it into the hands of the general public. Not mine unfortunately! Bill (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build, lugnet.build.sculpture)

  Re: Taz

(...) wow, this is pretty durned amazing. The whole look and feel of taz is perfect, you expect him to bob up and down while panting! why didn't you put drool comin out of his mouth? -mark (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)

  Re: Taz

(...) Looks great--if the piece count (and hence price) is low enough, that would probably be a big seller for you. Of course, that's just a guess on my part, for all I know you wouldn't sell a single one! Derek (21 years ago, 13-Dec-04, to lugnet.build)
