| | | This (and a "rarest piece" thread in lugnet.general) reminds me of a rare sloped brick piece that I'm sure some of you who have any 1960's LEGO will recognize, and that is a 2x2 regular sloped apex (peak) brick that instead of an "I" ridge line has (...) | | | | (...) Kevin, The earlier pieces that you describe (a hint of orange in the red color) are made of Cellulose Acetate. That was the plastic that LEGO used in the early years. Unfortunately it has a tendancy to warp. I have many examples of early LEGO (...) (25 years ago, 19-May-99, to lugnet.build)
