Three good ones! You forgot one more:
4. (at least this works in town and trains) scale the scale back.. Dial up the
selective compression... make that model office building only 4 stories instead
of 6 and only 3 panels wide instead of 5... take two windows out of each
passenger car or decide to go 6 wide instead of 8, or whatever...
