Indeed it is.  My backup plan, which is less flexible but might look a
little better is to use translucent light blue 1x4x3 panels.  They are
available in abundance, but because of their size I will be inhibited in
other ways.

All this for an interesting effect in a MOC.  I wonder if it's worth it,
holding up a project to find that perfect piece.
