Hi Legomaster,

I'm not sure what you would want to do with the Mantis, but I can tell
you how I deal with taking my creations apart. I've build a bunch of things
which I was really proud of, and my first big creation was an automated
turret which shoots thin light grey wheel hubs, didnt always work so well :)

But anyways.. After I built It..I really wanted to keep it forever
basically, I liked it so much. On the other hand, if I kept the creation
indefinatly, I couldnt really build anymore. If I were to try and build
something else, I would be completly hindered by the lack of parts, and
nothing pisses me off more then needing a part, but its used in something else.

In my eyes..with each successive lego creation, a person naturally gets
better at it. So for instance..If the minute you finished the mantis..you
took it apart and started again from scratch, it would come out alot better
then the one before, being you learnt alot about the legos and new more
efficient ways of connecting them.

So..I basically say to myself once i've finished something, "I made this
creation once.. I can always do it again, and if I made it again, it would
be alot better"  Thats gives me the ability to tear my stuff apart. I
usuaully take them apart within a week of finishing it, just because I know
my next creation will be that much better.

Maybe you could use all your mantis parts for a new Mantis..an evolved mantis.

I hope I helped,
-Brian
