I have a stylized deciduous tree that I've made in this picture: http://members.home.net/edegiuli/lego/images/3-1.jpg If you use the small Lego leaf pieces, then it looks coniferous. I used different pieces from 80's space sets for the branches: Space Robot Arm: http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/search.cgi?q=4735 Town Loudhailer: http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/search.cgi?q=4349 Space Gun: http://guide.lugnet.com/partsref/search.cgi?q=3959 I like the look, but it is more of a surrealistic/fantasy tree than a realistic one. Another idea is to use palm tree trunks with large Lego leaf pieces, ala King's Mountain Fortress. It really depends how many leaf pieces you have, and how large you want your trees to be. Lego trees often look better in groups, where they can resemble bushes or at least are not as discernable as individual trees. Shiri has created a nice tree, but I don't have the link.
