Microfig doesn't mean space does it?

I had decided to pose this question before the treehouse was posted, but I will
ask anyway. Is anyone building town or castle stuff in microfig scale? I was
looking through David Macaulay's (of How Things Work) Building Big and thinking
how impressive even a microfig scale version of the Hoover Dam or Empire State
building might be. The Channel Tunnel from Britain to France would be very
cool, if one could bother with building a cross section view. I would love to
see if anyone has tackled huge structures in the reasonable scale. If it hasn't
been done, I think we should...

(...) I've seen a castle and cathedral built in microfig scale. I also remember a tiny town in the context of a train layout in the basement of a minifig-scale house. I don't recall the originators of either of those. X-Posting to .Castle and (...) (23 years ago, 7-Sep-01, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build, lugnet.castle, lugnet.trains)
